I greet you in the name of our Savior Jesus the Christ and thank you for visiting with us.Our mission and ministry is centered around creating a worship experience were God is exalted and people are empowered and edified through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I want to personally extend an invitation for you to come and worship with us during any of our services.
Pastor Robert C Hill Jr
Rev. Robert Carl Hill Jr, Is a native of Winston Salem, NC. He is the son of Deacon Robert C and Teresa Hill. Rev. Hill grew up in the church and has always felt a calling was upon his life to do a greater work for the kingdom of God. He was educated in the Winston Salem Forsyth County school System and is a 1988 graduate of Glenn High School. Upon grauation Rev. Hill enrolled into the United States Navy. He was awarded numerous letters of accommodations, ribbons and medals for dedicated service. During his tenure he served in the Gulf and Operation Freedom Wars. After 10 years of service dedicated service he received an honarable discharged and is a Navy veteran.
Rev. Hill still felt a divine calling upon his life and under the leadership of Bishop Sir Walter Lee Mack Jr., Pastor of Union Baptist Church in Winston Salem NC. and preached his initial sermon in July 2002 and received is cathecism of ordination from the Rowan Baptist Association in July 2003. He was a very dedicated member of the Ministerial counsel, Political Action Committee, Youth advisor, and Board member of the Youth Character Football league.
Rev. Hill was called to Pastor Lexington Christian Fellowship Church in Lexington NC in June 2014. Since his arrival the church has experienced tremendous growth in membership. Sunday school, mid week bible study noon and night aka (WWF) Wednesday Word Feast, audio, video, adult and youth liturgical dance, evangelism, outreach, deacon and deaconness ministries, yearly conferences, workshops, revivals, evangelism, outreach and deacon and deaconness ministries have been implemented.
A new roof was installed in the fellowship hall, painting of exterior worship center, construction of audio and video booth, redesign of church office, choir room and pastoral study.
Pastor Hill centers his ministry around listening to the voice of God thru prayer, and study. It is shown in his preaching and teaching with passion. Pastor Hill believes in parterning with the members of the church and community to build a place of worship that shows the love of our Savior Jesus the Christ and have a true desire to learn by developing a signature relationship with God
He is married to Melanie N Hill, and they share the joy of being parents to Courtney, Desmond, Victoria an d Hope as well as Grandparents to Semaj, Kingston and Dallas.
